News Publishing: Pequot Plantation was first published in April, 2005 Honors: In May 2006, Pequot Plantation was recognized with an Independent Publisher, “IPPY” Award in the category of Best Non-Fiction Book, Northeast Region which includes New England and New York. This award was based on the book’s regional significance and quality. Reviews: From Connecticut History published by The Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH) “The book is thoroughly researched as to facts about settlers and the major events of the time, such as King Philip’s War, and it is highly readable.”

Events July 4, 2009: Book signing from 3 - 7 pm at the New London Naval Submarine Base "Subfest" festival. Sept. 25, 2009: Book signing at the Eastern States Exposition (Big E) in the Connecticut building. I will be there from 1 - 4 pm. Nov. 14, 2009: Manchester Community College. I will be giving a presentation at the Fall conference of the Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH). The subject of my presentation will be Connecticut's reaction to the British blockade of Long Island Sound during the War of 1812.
