News Publishing: Pequot Plantation was first published in April, 2005 Honors: In May 2006, Pequot Plantation was recognized with an Independent Publisher, “IPPY” Award in the category of Best Non-Fiction Book, Northeast Region which includes New England and New York. This award was based on the book’s regional significance and quality. Reviews: From Connecticut History published by The Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH) “The book is thoroughly researched as to facts about settlers and the major events of the time, such as King Philip’s War, and it is highly readable.”

Nov. 1, 2008: Fall conference of the Association for the Study of Connecticut History (ASCH) at the University of Connecticut, Avery Point Campus. My presentation will be on the "Regional Orientation of Connecticut Maritime Enterprise between 1636 and 1820." Nov. 5, 2008: Presentation to the Charleton Historical Society, Charleton, NY. Nov. 18, 2008: Presentation to the Nathan Hale DAR Chapter at the Acton Library in Old Saybrook, CT - 7:30 P.M.
